Just before we leave the loch side at a location previously occupied by the Ben Alder Lodge we come across a 'Disney World' type castle. This is a large granite castle complete with an imposing gatehouse. Even the driveways are beautifully laid out and patterened in Portuguese granite. What a fairy land location but we respect their privacy and will refrain from the provision of the more interesting details.

Passed the castle we climb up to the plateau and even though the summit of Geal Charn was seen fleetingly, the weather was still kind to us.
